In August 2010 our old client Rally Up was acquired by AOL.  That team of nine or so developers, designers and product managers became the Mobile First Team at AOL, and now work in the awesome AOL offices in Palo Alto.  Within weeks of entering the fray of large corporate Internet America, the Mobile First team started working on an amazing new app – an iPad app called Editions.  This is a killer iPad magazine; it’s the magazine that reads you.  You can think of it like Pandora for content. (Or by the tagline that almost was…)

Editions is launched in 2011, and DRSmedia was brought into the fold to help out in preparation for the launch, working with the Product, Marketing, Help & Support and PR teams to prepare for the launch of an amazing app.  It rocked – visit Editions.com for more information and to learn more about the app.

In mid-2012, AOL retained DRSmedia to come on board as the firm of record for the Mobile and Mail teams; we work with a variety of folk helping to coordinate media relations on a host of AOL products including AOL Mail, Editions, Moviefone, and many more.  These are amazing engineers and talented product designers who are a lot of fun to work with – always exciting to see what the D-Rob and Sol show will turn up next.
