Clicker
Clicker.com, the ultimate programming guide for TV on the Web, was founded by Jim Lanzone, the former CEO of Ask.com. Clicker launched publicly in November of 2009. While at Stage Two, David coordinated the strategy and media relations efforts for that launch. David executed multiple announcements including the launch, strategic partnerships, and venture funding as part of the strategy.
In addition, David oversaw a multi-party team made up of Stage Two folks, Clicker employees, and additional outside contractors to coordinate for an optimum launch. The process was fantastic, and resulted in one of the most significant press days with which David has ever been involved. News coverage went through the roof, and included a remarkable number of big-time outlets including Reuters, Associated Press, NYT, Wall Street Journal, ABC News, CBS News, USA Today, NPR and many, many more.
