Legacy Locker

Legacy Locker

Legacy Locker was launched out of Stage Two, the brainchild of Jeremy Toeman and Adam Burg, principals of Stage Two. Legacy Locker is a Web-based service that helps to pass online accounts to friends and loved ones after you die.  I worked closely with Adam and Jeremy to help create the product, user experience, brand identity and messaging for Legacy Locker, as well as spearheading the marketing and PR efforts.  We achieved staggering success marketing Legacy Locker – the press and the public have responded extremely well to the company and to the pitch.  Maybe it’s the morbidity…

Pitching Legacy Locker to the press we saw an extraordinary degree of interest from print media, television media, radio and online publications.  We’ve seen coverage in publications ranging from CNN and NPR to the NYT, MSNBC and the Washington Post.  Local and national TV news affiliates have covered Legacy Locker, including NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox Television News.  The NBC Bay Area piece is embedded below, as are screenshots from the CNN and NPR coverage. It’s been a remarkable brand with which to work.
